Ever had a Spiritual Haircut?

Probably not…lucky you.

I did, and all I can say is that if Seinfeld was still on, I could have sold this episode in a second.

I’m assuming you might want to know what the heck a Spiritual Haircut is right? Glad you asked.

If you want to hear all about it (come on, you you know you want to), then listen to the radio interview below on Welcome Changes Radio with Velma, “The Queen of Joy”…(she’s nuts like me.)

There’s a lot of other cool wisdom and stories to be had as well, so check it out.

The Spiritual Haircut can be Chalked up to just another one of my crazy “Self Help Hell” experiences from “The Mad Spiritual Guy” on the road to finding purpose and enlightenment. Not sure I found it, but I found some good comedy material, so I got that going for me.

This comes from a long list of other crazy adventures that I’ve been on like being Rolfed by a Man with Large Hands, Walking on Fire, Eating Fire, and Pooping Fire (that’s what happens when you eat it, just sayin’), Bending Spoons with my Mind, Meeting a guy named Cinnamon who kept saying, “I’m NOT your daddy”, and one of my favorites, being pursued as a client by a “Suicidal Life Coach”…pretty sure that would have been totally HOT if I wanted to get coached on how to kill myself…always good to know you can find experts for anything on the internets when you need it.

Picture 7A while back I got a call from my friend Sue and heard the news about Penny, one of Sue’s best friends and someone that I used to hang out with a lot when I lived in Chicago. She’s beautiful, sweet, totally real, and is very happily married with two loving children. Life was good.

The News

When the phone rang, and I heard Sue’s voice, I knew there was something really wrong. I’ve known her since I was 14, and she’s like my Spiritual Sister; we’ve been through everything together, so I could definitely tell something was up.

Ever been stuck in your life or business before? Nah, not you right? Me either.

OK, now that we’ve amused ourselves and are ready to step out of denial, let me share something with you that I learned from one of my favorite mentors, (Eben Pagan), that has become a huge part of my success and has made a big impact on my personal growth and in my life’s work.

Eben is someone that I get to hang out with at events, as well as dinner and parties now and then; he is extremely successful with a company set to earn around $30 Million this year from home, and this strategy is one of the biggest reasons why, so I would pay close attention if I were you, I know I did.

Let’s be real, we’re all influenced by other people; myself included. And I’m totally on board with modeling and being inspired by other successful people that you want to be like or respect; I have a lot of mentors and models who have influenced me over the years, and still do.

But at the end of the day, YOU still need to “Do The Work” (and it’s not always easy, believe me), to uncover your true calling and passions, whatever it is for you that makes you happy, and step into that (and make sure you watch where you’re stepping). If you really want be fulfilled and feel fully alive, you just have to go deep, find out who you are, and start rocking with that, and a lot of people are just flat out afraid to go there…but if you don’t, you might just end up living someone Else’s dream, and that plain sucks.
